Hi, new at this. I know about diagnostic, etc. but not familiar with TPM. Also wondered about this interview Pardons & Parole does. How to and what kind of questions do they ask.
We were told by a deputy (consider source) that time is calculated almost 3/1 for every year equals 3 of sentence. Justin does have a violent charge.
Hoping to create some intervention for him. Either reduction in time, location or something.
Wondered what everyone has tried.

Oh, also wondered what source inmate has for legal support? Could not remember where read but thought there was a source for inmate to contact for legal support.
Concern that he'll get in a tight situation; I won't know and he'll need legal help. Or he'll go to the hole and I won't be able to find out if he is ok.
How do you make sure they are ok?

TPM is the tenative parole month. They have a max out date and a TPM. I think it takes like a year after they go to prison to get a TPM. My son has been in ASMP since August 7th, and was in the county jail for a year. They counted the years he spent in county but the incarceration date on the web site still says August. Anway, I have head that it takes some time. As for the 3/1 thing. I really have no clue but I know someone else on this site will. If he has a violent crime, he will have to spend 90% of his to serve sentence. My son got 31 years to serve 12. He has to serve 90% of the 12. Hope that this has been alittle help.

As far as I know the GA parole board never sees the inmates. All they do now is look over there records and write ups. They also pay very close attention to what they do to pass the time. Taking classes is a BIG plus to those people. The more the better. Hope I helped!!!!
