I live near McAlester and know several locals that work at DOC in one way or another so I'd be glad to ask around and see if any videos of the annual Prison Rodeo are available for purchase. I also have a friend that works at the McAlester C of C that may have such information. They are behind the promotion of it. It's one of the local 'big annual events'.

waitinginok, do you know what year(s) in the 1990's your fiance was in the rodeo and was it the actual rodeo or the pre-rodeo parade? :D

Kendall was in the bull riding event.
He said that he participated from 1990-1998.

Well I called the friend I mentioned in my earlier post today. I haven't talked to her in some time and I found out she isn't with the McAlestr Chamber of Commerce anymore. But she did say she was sure there would be videos of the Prison Rodeo available for purchase to call the Chamber and see ehat they say.
She did, at least, give me the tool free phone number.
