If you haven't seen this or read this, please take the time to read it now. Copy, print, and send it to your child in prison because of drugs/alcohol addiction. Maybe one thought will get through to them; maybe more. But we can't stop trying to get them off drugs, to remain off drugs, to fix their lives and realize that the devil drugs only wants one thing: their souls. It's certainly not light-hearted! It's meant to shake the ground under a person, and it sure shook mine! Considering that many of our sons and daughters are in prison due to drug addiction, this "Letter from the Devil" minces no words on how drugs like meth can take hold of a person and lead them right to where they are now. God willing, they can over come their addictions. But the fact that many return to their habits and end up returning to prison, I'm going to do whatever I can to shake the foundation under our son to help prepare him for coming home - for facing his demons - for his success on the outside. If it stings a little, maybe it will get their attention. I hope! I always hope!
