hi everybody, my husband was recently transferred to wallkill and i went to see him twice with a van service that leaves from 161 and river ave in the bronx. now i'm not very picky being that i know some sacrifices have to be made inorder for me to be able to see my baby and it is worth all the frustrations but the service sucks. the guy drives like a mad man and is very rude. i found out that i could take the metro north to either beacon or poughkeepsie which would run from 22-24 dollars round trip which isn't bad but then i would have to take a cab which is about 30 dollars so it's impossible for me. i know there are other services that go up there but i don't have any numbers so i really need some help.

Just wanted to let all who are interested know, there is an excellent van service going to: Wallkill, Shawangunk, Downstate,Fishkill and Greenhaven
I have been riding with Lenny's Van service for well over a year every week and I must say he is great. he does door to door pick up in all the boros and has pick up points in queens and the bronx that I know of. He is decent and kind and doesn't try to hit on the women like some of the other drivers that go to these facilities.
His prices range from $30-$45 depending on how far away you are. He gets to the facilities early and usually gets you back home in good time.
I HIGHLY recommend him. He also goes up for FRP's.

Hi Marisol!! i told u that i was going to get back to you. You can call Rosies van service. The # is 718-639-5573. they do door to door service and require at least 2 days notice. they service Green haven, fishkill, downstate, wallkill and shawangunk.

I am not sure if these 2 companys have service to wallkill but its a worth a try. Premiere Coach at 212-599-3600 and Happy Trails at 718-856-6692

I know of two other vans that go to Wallkill and takes you to your FRP's too. One is Pascuale...He speaks english but mostly spanish. He picks you up door to door an charges $35, and $70 for FRP's. He is always ON TIME, unlike some of the people who go up there.He is polite and pleasant.

There is also Duet he charges $30 but does not pick up door to door unless you pay a bit more, He picks up at Yankee Stadium and somewhere in Brooklyn. HE is also on time and FAST! also poite and pleasant.
