The new assistant wardent allowed the first family night in 2 years for the faith based dorm. There will be another one for the other half of the faith based dorm and should be one for the drug treatment dorm.
Things I wish had known: Prisoners with no family/visitors were allowed to come as guests so bring extra food, maybe choices your loved one did not suggest. Bring paper products, styrofoam coolers were allowed, so I could have brought ice cream

Be sure nothing is homemade, have receipts for everything. Of course there are no alcohol, illegal products, but pretty everything else was ok.
One person can ruin it for all groups to follow

OH....That sounds so good!!! Congradulations!!! I wish they had that a Bibb. That would be wonderful just to have the opportunity to spend more time together.

Since I only get to Alabama a few times a year it was wonderful to see him two days in a row. I was amazed there was enough food, it was like the loaves and fish.
