I just became aware that Access is offering something called the Alabama Incentive Package Program, with orders being taken from March 10 to April 25 (by phone and Internet). Has anyone ever ordered this package before? Why do they call it an "Incentive Package"? An incentive for what?

StaminaK, I don't know if you are normally able to order from Access, but in CA we can order them quarterly. They have all kinds of goodies and personal care products, as well as thermals, sweats and socks. They normally ship out within 24 hours. They are a solid company with a good reputation. I don't know about the "Incentive Package" label, we call it quarterly package. It's best to shop online, since you can see what you are ordering. Good Luck

Stam, I've used it before. It's called an "Incentive Package" because only the people not in trouble at the time will be allowed to get a "package." ADOC uses this to "encourage" good behavior, the dates and times vary throughout the year as well for further "encouragement." Here's the website www.alabamapackages.com (http://www.alabamapackages.com) ~HTH~

I just ordered. It is not difficult, my son sent me a list of things he needed. It is a rather limited choice. He is allergic to most hygene items and is allergic to everything listed

The inmate has to get approved to receive the package, you can't have any citations or disciplinaries for so many months. Its an incentive for them to do good and not get in trouble...The package is also called a hygine package...they can receive these 2 times a year and a food package 2 times a year..
