I have to agree with stevesboo. The John Howard Society is great and I'm sure they'd have ideas for you.

You could also try the Salvation Army. Maybe they could access discount bus tickets or cab fares?

Is your man in a provinical jail or in a federal? Which one? I have some connections all over Ontario, just let me know where he is and where you are coming from!!!

best bet is greyhound.... if you buy you ticket in 14 das in advance ..it is pretty cheap ..... now most prisons are a little off the beat and trail ... but call the prison and ask in advance ..they tend to be pretty good about stuff like that....
