Ok, so we have some money saved up and my man reallly really really REALLY wants this Xbox for when he's out in a month and half. There are several versions of this console, and while I have read up on them and checked prices, I think that the best one for him is the middle of the road Xbox so to speak. But I would like some input from those who own one, the middle version has something like 20 mb and the high end has like 120 mb memory (or is it GB, I get confused)

He's a normal gamer, who just loves his Ace Combat and Madden, so is the middle version a good size memory? I would love it if we could use some of the extra money left over on games to play with!

Ok my oldest son has a regular 360 and has had to send it back to Microsoft a few times in the last 1 1/2 yrs he has had it. I was told by a friend of my kids if I get a new system to buy an Elite 360. I recently did that, so we will see if it was a better buy or not over time, but I think it is better period because it has more memory, etc.

Yeah I agree, my brother had to have his 360 sent back to Microsoft to for maintenance. I would go with the Elite system.

thanks for the input ladies! Funny thing is, when I see him tomorrow he will flip flop on the xbox vs the ps3, so I found some things online that compare the 2...my mind even has been changed, now I'm swaying more to the PS3!

My son has the XBOX 360 Live. I honestly don't know if that is Pro/Elite, or?? But he hooked up a router to the computer so he can play with other people from anywhere! It's pretty awesome. I think your husband would love that, the "live" one. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!

Im gonna be honest you should skip the whole Xbox thing, ull have it for 6 months and have to send it off to microsoft to get repaired. You should just save up for a lil longer and buy him a Playstation 3

It has all the same movie and gaming capability, built in wireless internet, Blu-ray, HDMI 1.3, etc... looks great.

I would go for thr x box elite 360 over the ps3 because of superier gaming online My so has all 3 likes the nintendo wii over the x box then the ps3 last. The wii version of Madden has the best controls, but the xbox elite hasnt had the trouble the regular x box has. Try having a look at the wii everybody here plays it the most and its fun a far more cheaper
