Does anyone know anyone who has been transfered to any of these facilities? This kills me we have less than a year left his counselor knows that I live out of state. Sorry that was one of the criteria for him being sent out. Because he has not had a visit in over a year. I'm still overwhelmed and taking it all in if anyone has any information on this issue please feel free to e-mail me or post thanks.

Currently, inmates transferred out of state are being tranferred to Oklahoma.

As well as Tallahatchie Correctional in Mississippi.

they are opening another prison in Arizona called Red Rock and transferring inmates there.

How are inmates choosen for Out of State transfers? I seen it mentioned if they don't get visits for over a year?

My husband was just tranfered to Taft, CA from La Tuna in El Paso, TX. His counselor put in a transfer to Tucson (90 miles from home) and it came back from region to CA. I visited my husband every weekend for the last 2 1/2 years. I believe they move people out of state to make it hard for the family. Just my opinion.
