Tim's parole date is on or after Nov. 17th.
I've had to find a place to move since I'm in HUD housing. It's been a nightmare because I have the added problem of informing the potential landlord that my guy is an SO and the offence description on the parole paper plus having to be 1000 ft from schools, etc.
I finally found a place that fulfills all the requirements and no children live in the building either. It's a house split into an upper apt., lower apt. and single room in the rear. I've rented the upper. The man who owns the house is a Sheriff's Dupt. His wife is the one I talked to and she talked to him and he made the decision to rent to me. My name goes on the lease and as long as Tim does what he's suppose to he's doesn't care if he lives there. If he screws up it won't come back on me.
I paid the $300 deposit on Wed. the 5th. The PO wasn't in the office and I gave the information to the guy filling in for the supervisor. He asked for the number when I said my landlord is a Dupt. Now it seems that the PO has to talk to the Dupt. before he'll notify the insitution he's approved the place. ?????? I don't understand the reasoning behind this when he had no interest in talking to the other person I was talking with to let me rent.
This is Fri. and he's still not contacted Tim's Case Manager at the prison. If he stalls too long Tim won't get out till after his parole date and I'm getting money (a loan) from a friend to pay the rent next Tues (unless the PO screws it up as the woman I talked to told me her husband got a message the PO wants to talk to him and she doesn't know if it will affect the deal), The gas will be changed into my name next Tues. and I've paid rent here where I live now..... I have to be out and this apt. cleaned up by the end of the month.
I'm so stressed that it's affecting my health (I had 4-bypass surgery on my heart in 2001 and I'm diabetic as well as on disability for arthritis). I need Tim home in order to be able to move.
On pins and needles ...........waiting........waiting..... hoping...
