Hello, I just found this site, looks great. Wish my family and I would have known about it while I was in. I was sentenced to 10 years and did my "time" between Miramar and both the "Castle" and the "new DB." Was released almost a year ago to be reunited with my family. WOW! what a great feeling that was. I am still in the appeals phase on the conviction, after so many assign counsels, that I almost loose track. If you have any questions, contact me and I will help the best I can.

My biggest advise to everyone is to not loose hope, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Some tunnels may be longer than others.

Congrats on your release, good luck on your appeal and welcome to PTO's Military Forum. Your perspective is a welcome one, that's for sure. I hope I don't upset you but I have a fiance headed to Mirimar or USDB. How is reception at both places. What do inmates do most of the day? Can they work, go to school, etc. What is classification like and how is it determined when an inmate goes to population?
