how many people actually get parole at 1/3rd of their sentence? is it really hard to get? what if it's the second time in prison? my b/f is getting 3 years for non violent B&E's. For the last three years he's ran a business, looked after his kids and been positive, up until the last month. He's been on parole before and finished it perfectly with no issues. but i was just wondering what his chances are that he'd be out at 1/3rd or even day parole at 1/6th?

It's hard to put out a statistic on that, mostly because the number changes by many variables that are out of our control. Full Parole right at the 1/3 has been done, but usually in specific circumstances that relate to the offence or the support from everyone involved. Realistically, if he's on his second federal term and for B&E's, a quick full parole might be a hard sell no matter how well he was doing before. Day Parole would be easier and he might want to try for both at the same time.
