I am ask a quetions out there for every body who know about immigration to please respond to this e-mail please.
I have a felony conviction. I did time in federal jail .I was sentence to 18 months in federal jai 6month half-way house 2 years in probation. and Judge place me under mental treatment.I am illegal immigrant from west africa.
My quetion is that i don't know if i will get deported after my half-way house which i am present in right now. by next month i will finish my half-way house.I don't know what will happen if i am on probation

IF INS has not contacted you I would NOT contact them. There is a possiblility that they will approach you even after your release. For now i would not worry and not discuss this with anyone. I do recommend that once you are relased you contact an attorney. The biggest issue of concern is that you are an illegal immigrant and not a permanent resident but to be honest the repercussions are the same for both. Deportation is a possibility.

well from my expericence with ins if your crime was considered an aggrevated felony you may possibly face deportation. if there is no detainer on you or anything holding you i would not worry at this time.
