I can't agree with you more on this one!!!!! I was locked up for 6 days,12 years ago in Harris County jail in Houston-for a simple PI& also had a court date& had to pay &875.00-half of that with-in minutes of being released from jail!!! The stuff that goes on down there is..well ludicrist!! They were beating inmates while I was in there for those 6 days of my lie! Pure Hell I'll tell you, I was never SO SCARED in my life! I could tell you Herific Horror stories!How can they do this!!! Are they still doing these Totally Illegal things! What can we do about this!!!! From, Jenny

Jenny, tell me how a city jail can pack men into holding cells in an ancient rat infested wing of their jail and then after processing move them to an ultra modern section without enough heat. Do health departments EVER inspect these places??? The guys my hubby was with stayed up at night and ran in place and slept during the day to survive the winter weather. The guards all wore jackets. And, if a guy was shipped in and missed
the commissary rotation he would have nothing but prison "scrubs" to wear and was handed a printout on the dangers of hypothermia. North Charleston Jail, Charleston, SC Go figure, right???? ~ WJ

I remember working out 12 hours every day when locked at the Marshall's bull pens in NYC. The temperature must have been at 60 degrees. We were wearing a short sleeve shirt and all the seating was metal. I must have done 5000 sit ups to keep my body temperature normal. This continued for 14 days. Peace
