Thank you. jnv512 11-06-2003, 03:56 PM I got this info off another site I belong to, hope it helps: They have the vending machines. Alot of times the change machine doesnt work, so bring quarters for the machines. No you cant smoke on the visiting, except for summer time when they have outside visiting. And you can only bring unopened pack of cigs. All lockers are in the hospitality center, so go in there to lock up keys and whatever else. The bathrooms are usually very clean (the one in the visiting room is nasty). The civilian in the center is a sweetheart. Ok, when you come out of the center walk to the right, that big brick building is where you will go (thats the main population). When you get to the door, ring the doorbell, unless the guard sees you, he will open it. He stamps your hand right away. If you have a package, drop that off at the pkg room (down a hall on the right). Then there is a open area where you fill out the visiting form. Then go up to where the guards are to be processed. Most of the guards are pleasant. The c/o's in that pkg room are usually jerks tho, so dont be surprised if you get a return. So then you will get processed and then walk thru the door to the visiting room. There is a guard at the desk on the left, he takes your paper work. You have to find your own table. There is a smaller room that is sometimes open. The entrance is on the right side of the big visiting room. If you have to wait more than 20 minutes for your man, then go up to the desk and inquire. nubiantwin 11-06-2003, 07:02 PM Thanks jnv512. This is helpful. I know you didn't ask but my girlfriend was contacted by an old old old friend of hers who is in that facility. I thinks she's considering visiting him. Do you happen to know if you need to be pre-approved or put on his visiting list? Thanks again. jnv512 11-07-2003, 03:13 PM As far as I know, there's no need for pre approval at any facility. I think in the rules it says so, but I've never heard of anyone doing that unless they are on parole. Then you need to get permission. |
