Does anyone have any information about fines. If someone is doing a 10 year sentence is it possible to get fines from other counties to run concurrent with his current sentence? Or at least get the fines put on hold until he is released ?

I think the fines do go on hold when a person is incarcerated. My brother's did and when he was released he set up payments with the county he owed the fines in. Actually one county had a HOLD on him for old fines and upon his release from prison were waiting to take him to county jail. We paid these fines off and he was released that day.

You might want to call the County that he owes the fines too and ask what their procedures are.
