What do you wear when you are released? Does it vary from different security levels?

The prison is supposed to buy inmates an outfit to wear home but you may wanna call the prison and double check.

I think it varies from institution to institution. I wore my sweats home !!!!!

Here in good ol'Virginia they provide you with state issue kacki's but not shoes. You must buy them yourself.

WHEN MY MAN GOT RELEASED HE WAS WEARING BLUE PRISON PANTS WITH A BLUE PRISON BUTTON UP WITH HIS LAST NAME AND INMATE NUMBER ON IT- WHITE TENNIES AND BLACK SOCKS AND THAT WAS IN KANSAS

Here in colorado they will give you an outfit to wear home or someone can send in your dress out clothes to you. I sent my husband a new outfit so he could look all sexy for me! :)

Here in NY state facilities, I can send him an outfit and he can wear it when he is released. He already knows what he wants to wear! lol... I'll get him what ever he wants cause I know he is soooo tired of the state green yucky pants!!!!!

my guy was released from jamestown and i sent parole clothes levis 501's sweatshirt scoks boxers and tennis shoes. he sent a form that was sent back with the clothes. my guy said if no clothes are there for them they are charged 28.00 for pants, shoes, t shirt, i do not know if they are used or new.

Trey came out of the prison wearing a sweat suit. We went to the hotel and that came off and stayed off!!! HE HE HE :D

Then he went to his PO's office and to his parents dressed in jeans, a shirt, a hat, leather jacket, sunglasses, the works. He looked H O T!!!

If you are picking the inmate up, you should be able to bring him an outfit --- after all, he IS free!! :)

From NY, my husband will NEVER wear green again, once he is home! LOL

at wrdcc center they will give you something or you can take cloths day of hes release or send them ...im just taking cloths day of hes release .....hess coming home jan 28 2004 ...happy holidays eveyone
