How long does it take for mail to get to inmate? When is the fastest the mail has got to your loved one.

officially they have 5 working days to serve it.
the quickest has been with my Man in 7 days, what means 5 for travelling overseas and two in the prison
and it is never a wrong thing to let your mate mention when he got your letters, so you are sure he got them!

I think my husband has moved to a different cell. Will he still get the mail I sent him with his old cell on it? How does the mail intake process work? Do they check on the computer?

yes, he should get it. it has never been an issue but how Whilburgirl says... lately post takes time.... one of the letters needed 1.5 month, the other was with him in two weeks, there is no rule! he gets my letters complete mixed up!

When my husband was there, I would get his letter 2days later but it would take a week or more for him to get mine. Now that he's at a different prison, I still get his letters in 2days but it takes 2weeks or more for him to get one.
