:confused: Can anyone tell me how long it takes mail to get to an inmate in CTF south? :confused: Thanks, for any info in advance!!

I don't know but my inmate is telling me anywhere from 7 days to 10 days internally delivered at North. Makes you wonder what you said in a letter when it takes damn near 2 weeks to get to them huh? Very frustrating. Some days I feel like going down there and actuually sorting the crap myself. good luck.

My man is in central and he still hasnt gotten my v-day cards and pictures....you ladys are not alone! This is fustrating for both him and I.

Speaking of which, mine received a Valentine's Day card today, it was post marked on 2/7. Can you believe that? He just got that card today, good thing I started in January mailing them out. Because of this, I am mailing Easter cards now..I don't care how early they get there, but I'm mailing them out now.

Hey, I just got word from my son that he got his package!! It was from December 26th. I am so happy!! He is quite thrilled also. He arrived there Dec 14th with nothing at all. Not even shampoo, pens, envelopes, nothing. They never gave him his personal property from Quentin, it was " lost" in the transition.
By the way he is in the North SA yard. He is a white.

If I buy him one more thing Denina, come up here to San Jose just so I can get off the internet with my credit card. (hahaha). I'm holding off on the CD Player now, what else could he possibly need.

I think mail at CTF has been a little weird lately. My guess is that they were behind at the beginning of the month and now they're catching up. I got a postcard from my brother yesterday saying he had gotten mail on the 26th that was mailed between 2/4 and 2/23. So some I had sent weeks ago, and others he got 3 days after I sent them.

MINE STILL HASN'T GOTTEN HIS THAT I SENT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH. THATS WHY HE HAS NOT CALLED ME CAUSE HE DID NOT GET THE MAIL WITH THE NEW NUMBER YET......:angry: THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING....BUT I WILL MAKE IT THROUGH IT AND BE PATIENT...

Can Someone Please Tell Me If Ctf Is In Lockdown?

Today the phones shut off in the middle of a conversation. The mail at North is slow, very slow. The only strategy I have learned through experience is the bigger envelopes 8x10 get in sooner to the inmate. I usually send one of those only when it's important. Forget Fed Express, Overnight Express Delivery, etc. - they don't get them in 24 hours, that's for sure. The mail at North seems to be getting there in 7-10 days. 7 being the earliest, 10 being the slower mail.

I'm new to CTF. My loved one arrived to CTF in Dec. and it's been hard on both of us. I haven't been able to go visit & the mail is s-l-o-w !!! I had never experienced such a slow mail delivery process. :blah: My letters are taking up to a month to get to him. This is really frustrating! Sorry ladies, my first post in this forum is a bit negative, but I want to see my Love so bad ! ! ! I'm just gonna go write to him and hope that makes me feel better.:idea:

Aury I can tell you that that first time driving up is loong and scary...especially taking that 46 but believe me you get used to it! Same for the line... it's crazy but it's part of what we do.;) I'm just glad I'm almost done. I"ll be there this weekend so if you have any questions.....

Yes, I've heard about that 46. So if anybody is looking for a carpool buddy PM & we'll try to work something out. I sure can use the company, guidance, and share the expenses. Lucky you that you're almost done. I look forward to when I can express that. Have you ever been there for Easter weekend? If so does it get crowded?
