My husband was tranferred to Charleston Brig from Norfolk a week ago. As of today i have not heard from him. Does anyone know how long it normally takes before they are allowed to call home? Please help i am worried sick.

when my son was transfered to Fort Lewis it was about 10 days before we heard from him.I am sure you will hear from your husband soon

my son was transferred 7 days ago and I still have not heard from him. Does anyone know anything about Polk. It's so hard to know he is there and not know how he is doing.

I don't know about Polk but hang in there when he can call he will it took 10 days before I heard from my son, and when he did call it was the best day just to hear his voice.

Mikelsmom! How is your son doing? Just an aside, my newest (3rd) grandson was born 12/7/07! It was definitely a GOOD day this year!

Thanks for asking things are going good Mikel is doing great has adjusted to being home quite nicely. Working and taking the required classes that he has to take. Things couldn't be better.
