MY SON HAD HIS 3RD PAROLE HEARING AND I HEARD IT MIGHT BE 6 TO 8 MONTHS BEFORE A DECISION IS MADE. IS THIS TRUE? HE IS IN JACKSON PRISION IN MICHIGAN.IF TRUE, WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG?:confused: :mad:HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Hi there. My boyfriend is in RGC in Jackson, Michigan. He is in on a parole violation, and he talked to a guy from the parole board about a month ago. The guy said he was recommending 6 months, but we haven't heard anything so far. I am not sure how long this whole thing can take, but i know that my boyfriend has been waiting to be classified and moved out of receptions for close to 2 months. It sucks!

My son was in reception for 4mo's.I guess the doc just does what they want.

My husband had a parole revocation hearing in April, and it took two months just to get the decision. Supposedly the great state of Alabama is broke and the parole board is months behind schedule. When his lawyer called to find out when his hearing was, the parole board had lost his paperwork - they didn't even know he was in prison, much less have a hearing scheduled. He spent another month and a half in classification.

THAT`S TERRIBLE! ONE OF THE PEOPLE ON THE BOARD MUST HAVE BEEN SLEEPING! I HOPE THIS DON`T HAPPEN TO MY SON. I`M SO DEPRESSED I`D NEVER MAKE IT ANOTHER YEAR. G.D. HECK OF A LONG COUNTDOWN.YOU MUST BE VERY STRONG.JUST STAY "TUFF"!

3 years???? What is that???????????????? I think that is completely insane. What is the hold up?????? My b/f, after being in for 2 months, thought they forgot about him. If your boyfriend is in the receptions center for 3 years, there is something completely wrong with that. What has he done to contact them?
