I came across a packet while I was in prison 7 years agoabout federal small business loans that were available to ex-cons. I have recently lost that packet and cannot seem to locate anything on line in regards to this.

Was wondering if anyone out there has heard of this and if so would you be able to link me the information if this does and still exists.

I don't know anything about that, but my son has started on some of his exodus papers. One of the things his counselor had him do was fill out paperwork for disability, but she also gave him some papers to fill out for a government grant to start his own business. He isn't home yet so I don't have the info on what she gave him. Would a grant have been what you had? or was it an outright loan.

I don't recall off hand if it was a grant or loan. But if your son could check those papers for a phone number or website that would be awesome. Grant or loan...either way, any info would be greatly appreciated. Looking for $250,000 beit it a federal loan or grant.

Ask them about First Step FastTrac through the First Step Fund. I know they educate low income folks (including ex-offenders) about starting their own businesses.

Hey, I want to purchase solar panels. I would like to install some in my home and use my house as a demo for other home buyers and builders to see that is not that complicated and the benefits are huge. Does any one know of a Government grant or private company grant to purchase solar panels for the home? Please let know your experience. Thank you.
