Aaron's review will be on November 24!

Hi all. Just wanted to share that we finally know the review day for Aaron's case. I am giddy to see what God will do! I'm not sure why I'm posting or what I'm looking for here...but I guess I'm just excited and seeing his name on the BOP site (even though it's for mandatory review) is encouraging.

So, what do you all think? And if you are a pray-er...pray for us please! Thanks!

hey everyone...

no news yet. aaron called late last night and i thought, 'a ha! he knows! somehow he knows early!' and i broke prayer with the girl i was with to answer the phone and i was jumping all over and....he just called to see how my doctor's appointment went. lol. i had totally forgot something was wrong with me!

so, he said i will know before him...that they will post it on the bop site before he finds out. geesh. so, monday, as soon as i know...i'll let y'all know!

Ok Evy- Im confused. A review and a interview are 2 differnt things??? I thought the review was the yay or nay??

Well however it works, Im still wishing you and Aaron Good Luck ;)

every year each inmate gets reviewed. the bop reviews only the file, during that review, they can decide to parole, interview or lay down the offender.

if they decide to interview, they then do an ICN interview and decide to parole, work release, interview again later or lay down the offender.

this is my understanding, so yeah, there's a review and then the interview.

He has been in over 4 years on a 20 huh? Ricky told me not all that long ago (while he was in Oakdale) that his cellie at the time (which he happened to know from an earlier prision stay) Had a 20 year sentence and got paroled in a little over 4 years too. The only thing about this guy, he lasted a whole whopping 6 days on the outside before he violated and was sent right back. Very Sad.

actually, aaron has 50 years and is five in. so...sigh. but he will be out for a lot more than 6 days!!! in fact, he'll never go back! God has him now, he won't succomb to the former ways in which he walked. :)

I wish the best for Aaron and you. I'll pray for you two so hopefully he'll get paroled. John comes up for his first one in April out of a 10 year sentance. Since he's gone in he's at his third prison . And each time they move him he gets farther away. sigh!!

I read he was moved again, Tami. :( Hopefully, by this summer he will have moved home! I will keep you and John in my thoughts, as well...thanks for keeping Aaron and I in yours!
