MONTANA State Prison, From Keichii.--Lifer in Montana
"Mail Delivered every day of the week but not weekends.
Phone use:
We are allowed to use the phone during dayroom between 6:30am and 11am. Then from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Monday through Sunday. The recipient is billed by the company either with their regular phone bill or by a separate bill from the carrier. AT &T and Qwest limits the calls to 15 minutes at a time. Calls are monitored.
Visits:
High side----you are allowed to visit 5 times per week. Visitors are only allowed to visit one inmate per visit. Not more than 5 people including kids are allowed to visit at one time.
You are not allowed to bring in any more than $19.99 per person visiting and no bills larger than $5 and no rolls of coins. The days of visits are from Wednesday till Sunday. They are from 2:30pm to 7:30pm. When you leave depends on the number of people visiting. Other rules apply and rules for the low side are different. More information will follow concerning these things due to new rules being applied.
The visits are considered to be contact visits but some rules apply when it come to touching family members. These rules will also come at a later date. I will send a complete list of rules for Close 3 and two and an old copy of prison rules with items no longer allowed marked in orange.
