Hi my Husband is on the level 1 yard and only has 1 year left well inless we can get him transfered to another prison closer to home. If anyone knows where I can find out information about the Hardship Bill for prisoners transfers that would be great as I have to write a letter by the end of Nov.

I am disabled and sure miss my husband a lot. Life is very hard without him. PBSP is so far away and I can't drive up there or take public transportation so the mail is our only form of communication. We use to be able to use the phone system but that changed too! I hate it....So hello to everyone and I'm sure glad to fine you. I've felt alone for so long.

Hi Lou and welcome to PTO my son is also at the Bay but he is in the SHU. Where are you at? We have a lot of folks here that will be able to answer some questions for you. In the mean time if you would like to give me your husbands info just like you write it on an envelop and his date of birth I will add him to the birthday and Christmas card list. Just send me a PM OK. Love Barb

Welcome Lou welcome to PTO, my hubby is in the SHU the same as Barbara’s son, I don’t know who to write to about hardship transfers but I will ask my husband because he tried it about 6 years ago because his Mum is disabled.

Unfortunately I’m in England and we have a postal strike so IBM not really sure if I can get the information for you in time.

This is the address of the central warden, it may be worth trying to contact him?

Mr paul J Billard
Associate warden (Central Service)
5905 Lake Earl Drive
PO Box 7500
Crescent City, CA

Good luck!
