laydlyke 02-05-2008, 09:41 AM Here is a bigger pic of my matron of honor and I after the wedding. We were so tired! It had been a long day and the curls had fallen out of my hair!!!

laydlyke 02-06-2008, 07:43 AM Thanks! It was GREAT! We both were so nervous! You know some people say it all changes once you get married. They were right!!! We both have strong views on what a marriage is and it's funny at the level of committment we are on now. It's amazing!!! Marriage is such a blessing!

laydlyke 02-22-2008, 06:59 AM Nope, no honeymoon. We had a regular 2-hour visit (non-conjugal). I guess you could say that was our honeymoon. Huh, I never thought of it like that.
iloveray 02-22-2008, 07:19 AM So-what was it like after the ceremony? Were they less strict w/the touching than they are at visitation? I am getting married Tuesday.
laydlyke 02-22-2008, 11:28 AM Nope, we had to follow visiting guidelines, period. The wedding gave us no special treatment except reserving the visiting room. Congrats on getting married! :D

laydlyke 02-22-2008, 02:14 PM Yes, we had to get married during the normal visitation hours/day. But the chaplain reserved it so that it was only me, our 2 witnesses, the minister, my husband, 2 guards and 1 prison staff memeber who just wanted to be there. :D
