Well it is already February!! Hard to believe that Christmas was over a month ago!!

So what is everyone up to? How is life treating everyone? Anyone got any good news or a loved one returning home?

I am busy with the child and work and it doesn't look like it is going to slow down for a while yet.

I am loving the fact easter eggs are already out - my kids new which ones I liked and brought me some for my B'Day! never had easter eggs on my B'day before.

Loving my new job - it has already been 10 wks since I started. The stress has reduced so much! I am having more time with the kids!
My lil sis moved down from Darwin and I am loving being able to spend time with her and the kids. My bro moved back down from brisbane too - can spend time with his kids more too - I really feel like the family is home.
the new car is going great - cant believe I own - well paying it off- surprising I still find things with it I did not know it had.

Been busy updating the house lately. The Teenagers needed their rooms redone. My son still had trucks on the wall! Now we are doing a rock n roll theme for him.
my daughter is wanting an 80's theme!

hugs and Smiles to all
What have you all been up too??

Hey all. wow its been a long time since I have been on here. Which isnt fair, because I should be here with you all helping you all through your hard times.
So how are we all? whats new with you all? Anything new with your partners?
Congrats Em on your 2 year wedding Ann. I cant believe that its 2 years already. Boy that has flown. How long does hubby have left till he is home?
Well things are going fine here. DH is still working at the same place as before. He is working long hrs. Pay is crap but what can you do. He wants to apply for more jobs, but I always tell him not to. I get so stressed about him going through the telling everything about jail or if they find out. Too Stressful for me. We are still paying $50 a fortnight on his debt. He might go back to jail because we cant pay it off fully by the end of the year, but they cant get blood out of a stone. We wasnt able to pay it at all for a couple of months, because we had a lot of problems with his sister and had to pay to get his mums stuff out of storage and sent up here. Like i Have told him, we are Not meant to be making any payments at all at the moment, he just has to pay it by Dec this year. So either way, when he does go to court to hopefully get it changed, it will look good for him.
My eldest starts school this Friday. Im so excited. So is he. Ever 5 minutes he is going on about how many sleeps it is to he goes to school. :)
We are still having a few issues about him not listening to DH, but that will come in time. DS still goes on about how he loved it when DH was milking cows. So he does still remember that Dad was away for awhile.
Next month we have been together for 10 years. Wow I cant believe I have put up with him for so long LOL.
Cant wait to hear how you are all going. See you all real soon.

Kellz, that upcoming court hearing must be waying on your mind. That debt must feel like it is impossible to pay and never ending. Hope they see he is making a go at things and you are making an effort to pay it off. Sending him back does not do any good. He learnt his lesson!!
How was his first day at school??
I am glad you were able to sort out of the DH'S Mum's belongings.
I wonder how stressful it will be when Hubby comes out and he has to explain on where he has been and why!

Thanks all for the congrats on the wedding Anniversary. Time has flown by but at the time the days took forever. Kellz - we have 4yrs til min sentence and 3yrs til day release. yeah I am counting til day release now.

Hi Mala - can see your eager to hear about visits. You will see I posted a reply. Please allow sometime for me to respond. I had to work today and I am coming down with the flu. I also have 2 kids so I am not always right there to answer. I do try to answer as soon as possible though.
I hope I have been of assistance to you, let me know if you need more info.

Em congratulations on your anniversary as well as the new job, new car and what sounds like a huge improvement to your life. The kids must be thrilled about the room makeovers etc. and it must be wonderful to have your sister and brother close to you again.

Well, our lives are ticking over quite nicely. As I write this we have 13 days, 23 hours and 26 minutes until home detention ends but who's counting...? :haha: It will end at midnight and we've said we will probably jump in the car and go for a drive at one minute past just because we can.

Cal has taken the HD thing in his stride so he's been happy to be home even if it meant not being able to go anywhere other than doctor's appointments and a nice little drive to the pathologists when he was required to provide a urine sample. I certainly have not missed the drive to Loddon each weekend and having him home has been wonderful but I know he is busting to be able to come and go as he pleases. All in good time of course but it's nice to know we haven't got long to go  .

Thanks DingoGirl. Can't believe it's a week to go. I'm sure he can't either. I know he's looking forward to being able to do ordinary things such as just driving up to the shops to get a paper or something instead of having to rely on me for everything. Not that I mind but it will be nice to be able to send him sometimes, especially if I want to have a lie in on a weekend.
