As some of you know, our Dear Wendy's father in law has suffered a heart attack. And that devastating news, has brought on ill health for her mother in law. So her hubby has had to fly to the States, to be with his parents. They are in our prayers and thoughts daily. But today is Wendy's anniversary, so let's not have her spending it alone. I'm throwing a virtual anniversary party and everyone is invited! But with such short notice I haven't got much. I have some paper plates, napkins, sweet tea, of course a little alcohol, ;) and some snacks. I'm not so good at organizing a big event like this, I need help! Please come join us!!! I'm not so good either. I had this dream I was sitting on the floor of my son's cell, he was laying on the floor and I had his head on my lap, and I was holding his face and telling him, it's alright. It was so vivid, and left me feeling so sad today. :( Now I can't stop listening to this song.

His could have been running thru a feild with you firmly holding hands and laughing together. He wants you to feel happy and with him even though you can't be there with him. You want him feel everything is alright and comfort him, so he came to you thru God in your sleep. I dunno. Just trying to make sense of all this mess.

Wendy, the weather is yucky here in the PacNW. Overcast (usual) but the snow is melting, cold though. Could be the snow is going away, because it can't decide if it is going to snow or rain or slush...doesn't matter to me, I have become a hermit. I only go out on Fridays, those are visiting days at the jail with my son.

I know what you mean, Bless...such a mess, such a mess. Everyday, another story, another mom...or same mom with more tragedy, or more sadness, more fear. It's like it isn't enough that our hearts are already torn to shreds, that we think we have all that we can take, then along comes something else to tear more off our heart and we ask ourselves..How much more can I endure? I just can't take this! Lord only knows the tears that flow from my eyes...I beg for the strength to not lose my mind. Thank God I have found you all...lest there would be a cartoon character of me for sure, hmmm, maybe there already is one! lol.

We are the tropical sort, and if it wasn't a dire emergency, he wouldn't be going, believe me. Thank goodness you only get out the one day a week, and that's to see your sweet baby. Just looking outside gives you all the excuse in the world to stay in. I'm in a slump in the tropics, and I'm running out of excuses!

It dropped on us last night from 54 degrees to 9 within about 2 hours or so, tornado warnings and with the winds that came in my back door blew open. Freaked the dogs out big time. With such a drastic weather change I had an allergy headache that rivaled any hangover so I went to bed around 8:30.

Especially with what is going on with him at his unit (my son). I have been terrified to even fall asleep now. I know what you mean about the depression too, I've been watching videos on youtube, with choirs. It has helped to here the word of God being sung so beautifully. I hope it gets better for you Kim. Ya know Jancy, I truly believe that. My mother, Bless her heart, was devastated when I was in. I was suicidal myself, though I never told her, I guess like Mother's do, she knew. Anyway, one night in my cell, I did have a dream. God was felt deep inside my soul (I had no faith left either) and He spoke to me, it was as though He washed and cleansed my soul. I cannot explain it. But my mother came to see me and she said that she was awakened out of a deep sleep, and all of a sudden, a feeling of peace overcame her. And that she knew, everything was going to be alright. It was the the same night! So now, fast forward to my dream the other night, I was holding my son, consoling him. I believe he felt me too. Yes, through God. Than I woke up and as usual, tried to take control away from God. (slaps forehead).

Witches of Eastwick is on again. It just ended and is on TV again. Back to back. eeks! I love the beginning scenes where the girls get together for get togethers. I've never done that. Looks so fun!

Reg, I just saw this revival and can barely remember it myself. I had way too much booze, but what a time!!!! I remember being so touched by you, especailly remembering my day, and posting. Then the party was on. The girls came from everywhere. I think Pebs was the last to post. I had fallen asleep at the "puter" and everyone knew it! Lord I hope we have progressed from those times, but that was a fun night!

OLD THREADS. We were all nuts at the time, if you think about it. We had a great laugh, after we had cried all day. I used to wake up pulling keys off my face and reading posts I didn't remember posting, wishing others might not remember them either. Just a few short months ago, we were crazy and now look at us, pilars of the PTO community!!! To all the newest ladies, we have been there, read some of Reg's old posts that don't include my name, the temporary insanity is part of the bargain.

OLD THREADS. We were all nuts at the time, if you think about it. We had a great laugh, after we had cried all day.
