Yesterday I was pulling out of a parking lot at the grocery store, and I saw an ex co-woker. She and I were counselors at Project Recovery. She knew about Keith and I was kind of skeptical about our relationship, but she was hopeful for me. She did not know about Keith's death, and as I was telling her about how everything had just fallen in place after his release she began to smile and she said you know what "Keith had God's favor. We talked for a few more minutes and I left and came home. What she said has been on my mind every since. He was in God's favor. There is no other way to explain how things came so easy for him after his releasae. His mother called me this morning and I told her about he conversation, and I could hear the pride in her voice about her son being in God's favor because we both knew that that is why things happened the way they did. Even in the car accident, he had broken every major bone in his body, and was bleeding internally, but there was no signs of his injury when you looked at his body. When I saw him right before they pronounced him dead, he did not look like he was in any kind of agony, he just look like he was sleeping, there was no visible signs of what he had suffered.

The conversation with my ex-coworker seemed to shed more light about how God worked in Keith's life.

It was especially good to hear that because tomorrow will make a year since I left to pick him up for his release on 31 Jan 07. I am hoping what she said will help me deal with the next few days.

Menia, that is really beautiful. And I think that your ex co-worker may have been right. I will be thinking of you.
