My fiance was recently sentenced to 14 yrs for armed robbery. He has just been sentenced (3\13) so he is still in county jail waiting to go to DOC. I'm having a really hard time dealing with all this and am glad I found others who know what I'm going through. I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all.

Hi there,
We're all in the same boat here. My hubby's doing 5 years in Va. It will be hard, so don't be afraid to ask for help when it gets overwhelming for you.

Wow! Thank you for making me feel so welcome! As I'm sure you all know, you can't talk to just anyone, and even the few you feel comfortable with still don't have a clue what it's like. (And I suspect feel more pity for me than compassion...) It's good to know there are some people who will know just how I feel even when I can't explain it myself. :-)

Just wanted to extend yet another Welcome to PTO....
Everyone else has pretty much said it... there is a lot of support to be had here and a lot of people who really do understand all the things you will go through that the rest of the world just doesn't seem to get... Glad you're here!!

Hi Girl:
Main thing is to tie a knot in your rope and hang on-------
Keep your faith. Tomorrow is always a better day. Sometimes that is hard to see but I have learned that in my years here on this earth.
Don't be afrand to come on this site and vent your flustrations. We all have them.
