Not that I want to turn this into a political website, but let's face it, it's the politics as usual that run our state and our prisons. I just want to get the word out about Matt Gray, who wants to change the way our prisons are run and change the laws regarding victimless crimes and the three strikes law. In addition to other candidates mentioned for Gov., not sure if all are aware, but Matt Gray is running as a write in candidate for Governor. Below is his website which includes his platform and stand with regards to victimless crimes and the 3 Strikes Law. Those of us who visit up North at Salinas valley State Prison are very aware of Matt, as I'm sure many of you are. He is a great advocate of eliminating/revising the law and a great friend of FACTS.

We need to make our vote count, especiially when it involves our loved ones rotting away in prison for life terms for non-violent, non-serious three strike felonies. In many cases, for misdemeanors they just decided to make felonies (wobblers)!!
