Hey-

My inmate told me on Sunday that he will only be allowed to have 5 pictures total as of 11/30/2003.

Does anybody know why they are changing this, before he could have as many as he wanted, but only 5 per envelope.

He said "Why do they let us buy picture albums for $15.00 if they will only let us 5 pictures??"

Anybody have any insight on this.
He is at Benton Work Release.

Hi...... I'm new but wanted to let you know what I was told.
Apparently, at the Cummings Unit they are only allowed 3 pictures. I can ask my friend who is in there to verify and get more detailed information if you would like.

That's just the number that can be sent in per letter, I think, not the number they can keep. Right? Surely they're not just letting them have only 3-5 pictures in total.

Well Keith got in trouble at Benton and was sent to Wrightsville unit and he says the ADC is changing the policy on pictures. And when he got sent there the guard said he will give Keith a little whiile to pick which ones he wants. ]

But yes he is begging me to send sexy pictures, cause really soon the inmates are only allowed to have 5 total. Yes 5 total not just 5 per envelope.

What else can they come up with? They are in there all alone why would they take their pictures away. Sometimes I wonder waht would happen if the shoes were on the other feet (The guards and law makers surely have a heart, right)

hey rojitaandkeith....... my guy is in Wrightsville,too.He just sent me three back so I could send him some pictures of our son's 2nd birthday pictures. Why do they limit pictures???
Uh Oh guys! They may start to limit the amount of letters they receive!LOL........I'm only kidding(knock on wood)

Can any of our beloved corrections-affiliated members enlighten us as to the POINT of this? Is there a point? Other than more misery? It doesn't affect me but I am so sick of reading about the treatment people have to dea with!

PLEASE tell me, make some sense of WHY he can only have 5 pictures but they will give him a real razor blade..... I would love an "official" ADC answer on this. Believe me I've asked for one and they just get crappy.
