Hi, my boyfriend is either going to Morgantown, WV or Ashland, KY next month. I have heard that Morgantown is better. Any information on this facility? Is it safe there? Thanks...

My husband reported to Morgantown last week. We have talked to him several times and he says it is okay. He said he has met a lot of great people.

I think it is what you make of it.

The grounds look like a college campus. No previous experience for us except for Alderson, WV but safety is not a problem.

I got a letter the other day from my man and he says the facility is straight. He has been there about 12 days now and says evryone is very helpful in helping him a adjsut. He says its a very safe facility. -0- tolerance for violence. If you get in trouble they ship you out.

Thats great!!!!! i use the 1 finger hunt and peck lol...he'll do great..My son has never mentioned it!!but i will write him tonite about it...lol...altho he gets out monday the 10th woo whoo ...but i think i'll be a regulsr noe here...lol i've learned alot in the last few days here..hope i never have to use it ,,but i know things now!!! and if he ever gets in trouble again he'll never see the judge....lol..now me on the other hand the judge would probably throw me in and throw the key away!!lol

I live in Grand Rapids Michigan. Am going this weekend to see Bob for the first time. Can't wait to see him.

I visited last weeekend and the place is great. Very safe, -0- tolerance for violence. He will be very happy if he gets to go there. Iwas amazed at how helpul people were and how many people from my own area had family there. If he has to go some where Morgantown is the place to go. No fences, no wires, casual visitation. They even have a room within the visiting area for the kids to play while you visit. Very very nice faility.

He called about 4 hours after he was dropped off to say he was ok. Mentioned that they were treating him well. Much nicer than we had expected. We had done some research and felt fortunate that morgantown is where he got sent. It was a great relief to hear his voice. He said he thought it would take a couple of days for him to fill out the paperwork before he can call home again. He is O.K. How long does it take for email to get set up?

I looked thru my old emails. The first I received from my husband was in about 10 days.
