The use of profanity on this site should be LIMITED to times when it best describes events & situations were other words won't suffice. NOT just for the heck of it, and definitely not to insult others. I'm sure most of us know which words are insulting to others all by themselves so lets refrain from using them or we may have to change the rules on this completely.

ALONG WITH PROFANITY I THINK WE SHOULD INCLUDE A BAN ON ANY DISCRIMINATORY REMARKS--AND I THINK WE SHOULD ALL TAKE A PERSONAL RESPONSIBILTY TO REPORT TO THE SITE SUPERVISOR ANY THREADS THAT CONTAIN OFFENSIVE MATERIAL

that is a good idea Sherry. We need to hold one another accountable so that this remains a benifit and not a detrament. I will keep my eyes open.

I agree. Profanity when it's necessary, not out of malice. Profanity is very unattractive to me and if I saw a forum with a lot on it, then I would think twice about joining.

PrisonTalk is GREAT!!!
