Hi. My son has been at Wrightsville since October. He was in the boot camp til last weekend. When the weather got bad they made them sit on their lockers all day long. He got put out of the program for falling asleep on his locker. I dont know weather to believe that or not, but its just killing me, because he was over halfway through. This whole thing is a nightmare! I have been reading on here and realize that my nightmare is not as bad as some, but God it hurts! I am so tired of people telling me what I need to do about my son, like we didnt try everything we could, and the looks we get, like we didnt try everything in our power. He hadnt ever been in trouble before and for some reason they just came down so hard on him! I dont mean he didnt break the law; he did, and should be punished for that. But I just dont understand why one man gets all they have to give, but the next guy, who has done the same thing, many times over, gets only 6 months probation.

I too welcome you and echo what Kat had to say. This is a good place for support and also information. There is a good chance that if you have a question, the answer is known by someone who has already gone down the path you are now traveling.

boot camp in texas is the same way..whats sad is they try to make an example out of at least one kid every group that comes in

I completely agree with the above statements, the prison system here isn't known for fairness. I'm sorry it's fallen upon your son to be the example.
