I hope this link works - it's a bird's eye view of Eyman, compliments of Yahoo maps

Hey, is that my car I see parked out in front of SMU II????? :D
Thanks for posting this. I found it a while ago & couldn't remember where it was. Google Maps & Mapquest don't let you zoom in this far. It's kinda pitiful, but anything to feel a little closer to him helps.

Another view is through http://maps.live.com ... even closer views still...
For Eyman the aerial view is really good, closer than what is there through Yahoo! Maps.
There is another feature only for more populated cities, such as where my friend currently is at Manzanita in Tucson. It is what is called a "Bird's Eye View" that can rotate in four directions, and a zoom-in feature. It's odd, because each of the four directional satellite photos may be taken from space on different days. Look carefully and use the navigation buttons in the upper left of the screen. Bird's Eye View isn't available yet for Florence, Arizona.
If you live in a populated city, put in your own street address -- scary what can be seen!
When my friend was moved from Eyman to Tucson, I wasn't sure which of all the facilities there at Tucson was Manzanita. It didn't take much time to look because they have spelled "Manzanita" in rocks in front of the facility that is viewable from space. The other cool thing is that you can tell what time of the day the photos are taken because of the number of inmates you can see on the yard.
I was just now looking at the western Bird's Eye view of Manzanita, and I can easily count 8 inmates on the basketball court! On the southern view, I can look at the yard and count the number of inmates (the orange gives them away) as well as the number of prison staff from the color difference in their uniform clothing. The southern Bird's Eye View was taken sometime in early morning since the shadows are longer and pointing to the west. It makes people really stand out in these photos.
Have fun with this -- it's kind of addicting, really. Want to know what a place in the world REALLY looks like? Use maps.live.com. The Bird's Eye Views are the best, but even just the aerial views are pretty cool.
