My fiance just called me today and said after this month I will not be able to send anymore packages. He is in Susanville. He said that he has to order all the stuff he wants through the CDC now. That sucks for him cause now he won't be able to get the good stuff he likes. He said that they can still recieve the special packages, just not the quarterly ones. I was just wondering if anyone else's loved ones has had this happen to them? If so do they get more choices then the do when they have to go to the store? And for those who's loved ones go to Susanville and didn't know the is just a little FYI for you!

from what I understand, as of Jan 04, these packages from outside vendors affects all prisons. Or do I have that wrong? I had the list somewhere of all the things they could have (from vendors)...its pretty sad.

Marvin is at CCC too and he told me 2 weeks ago this will be the last package that I can send him. They will start using the vendor packages as of Jan 04. I will be sending him mostly food items because he will not be able to get them with the vendors. This suck because they will not have a lot of choices to choose from and the prices for sure will be higher than a supermarket.
