My fiancee is in the parchman facility in Ms. His statuory parole date is tomorrow! 1/12/08. He's been approved for parole on 12/12/07. The house was approved about the 18th of December of 2007. As of 11:30am today. He still knows nothing. I've called everyone I can think of, including the records department, the parole board, his appointed parole officer, and the prison itself. No one will even bother to help me or give me some sort of an answer as to what is going on and wht he has not been given his "papers" yet or why he hasn't been sent to I.D.. I'm thinking of callin g Gov. Haley Barbour's office to see if they can help me I've already looked up the number. Should I do this or will it make matters worse? Someone PLEASE help me I'm getting desprite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(

Personally, I would not call the Governor's office. Case Manager, Assistant warden, Mr Epps office.
Emails may get you further as you will bypass administartive assistants. Be factual, not desperate.
All my best

I would contact recordsdirector@mdoc.state, Sherry Robinson, Director. be simple with request, factual, and informative with his mdoc #, etc. I've found dealing straight e-mail for important things has been the way to prompt inquiries, and get answers. Good Luck!!

Now there's another man that went infront of the parole board the same day, he was released on the 23rd. His tentative date was 6/18/08, a month and 10 days after my fiancee's! And he's still in there!!!!
