Well I think we are finally going to do it this time.:yay: Can you give me some advice on what to send for his dress out and if he doesn't get it in time what happens? Any info regarding his dress out is kindly appreciated. And any info regarding his pick up date is appreciated. He is in the hole therefore we have no contact other than letters but it's hard to rely on the damn mail... will he be able to call before his release?

I know that all CDC prison dont allow dress outs no more then 30 days before their release date. I sent my husbands dress outs in a 12X12 box and it took about 2 days to get to the prison they hold it in R&R till the day they are released. You might want to call R&R to see what you can send I know at ISP you can only send clothing no jewley money things like that. I just sent a white t shirt, jeans, a belt, socks boxers and a pair of shoes and when I picked him up I had his jacket and botten up shirt with me

When my man wrote to me he said to make sure the box I send his dress out in is marked in big bold letters DRESS OUT..... it cannot be sent more than 30 days in advance. Hope this helps...

I pretty much got the same info. I sent him as little as I could and it still cost me over twenty bucks. I wrote DRESS OUTS with his last name and CDC# all over it. No matter how they look at it, they will know it's his.

ANY ONE KNOW how long it will take him to process. What time should I be there to pick him up. He's at CVSP and he thinks he'll go out the same way we go in for visits. But I just want to be sure to be there before he gets out so he doesn't have to wait. It's a four hour drive and I hate to drive at night and the weather is terrible all around and no money for a hotel if I go the day before but I am determine.........I WILL PICK MY BABY UP....

If you're having problems with money, use a small one. Mine was over 10 pounds and it cost me 22 bucks. Also, just send him the essentials. Nothing fancy. He'll be home soon enough to put on what he wants or have them ready in the car for him to change into. His shoes and jeans seemed to have weighed the most. I wish I had thought it out better. Sweats and house shoes would have been cool with him.

If you're like us, only getting paid once a month, sure makes it harder when it gets closer to picking him up and further from our next check. Our telephone bill is due and they won't wait and wants to disconnect us on the 14th. And I havn't got a call from him since Friday, so there is no way to tell him. That means no call for Valentines or the date is still cool when to go get him. I'll just have to show up and hope for the best. But then, when he gets home, he can help me stress over these stupid bills.

Does it ever get better? I start to see the light and then something like this just puts me back into the ground.

Jermaine called and said he hasn't gotten his ??? form that confirms his release date. He said he has to take one more class and a test too but his name wasn't on the list. We hope this doesn't hold us up. Any chance there is a mistake? Can we depend on the original date or should I call R/R again to be sure?

Let me know if you know what this form is and did your man get his yet.

GREAT NEWS:::::: The phone co said I can pay on the 25th and they won't disconnect our phone. and yes HE CALLED tonight. I told him all the good news and I can tell it lifted his spirits. I love him so much. Just 10 more days.
