Hey folks! Well he's been home since Dec. 21st :D :D :D and is on parole until the end of June. At this point we're both tired after the holidays, sick of the weather and basically just want to rejuvenate. We've been looking just for the fun of it at web sites for the Dominican Republic.

I looked around but can't seem to find any info re: travelling while one is still on parole. Anyone know what the chances are of him being allowed to go away on vacation for a week while he's still on parole? He has next to no parole conditions other than to report and say 'hi' every couple of weeks and he has to reside within Ontario. I know that if he wants to visit his son in Edmonton he needs to give them a couple of weeks notice and they've basically given him the go-ahead for that but travelling out of the country is a different story.

Any info would be appreciated! :)

Most of the time you have to get it approved from his PO. Depending on the crime he was charged with and where you intend to go also play a role. Good Luck!!
