:confused: i been wit my fiance for 3 yearsz. he locked up! he been on rikersz for like 19 monthsz.:( he juz got sentenced. i dont no what isz gonna happen ... if neone knowsz, or can gimme an idea of whatsz gonna happen to him after he leavesz the island, please gimme some answers. i'd really appreciate it .:confused:

Rikers is county (city) jail - now that he's been sentenced, he'll be transferred to a state prison. Go to the NY General Prison forum here on PTO and post there for more help.

he is going to a state prison if he has been sentenced to anything over a year. They are usually moved within 10 days of sentencing so make sure to check that he is still at Rikers before visiting.

Yep....jalove is right....it took my man bout 2weeks after he was sentenced. I knew he left when he didnt call me all day....i just put in through google inmate lookup. and it gives u this website from nydoc and u just enter his name and d.o.b. if u wanna see what prison he got transferred to
