I am looking for anyone that might have information about an incident that happened on Thanksgiving day(2007) at Varner SuperMax.
This incident involved a young man and some kind of altercation.
He had only been there less than a month.

The only suggestion I can give you is to go to the Arkansas Thread and go to the prison profiles, then Varner. Another place to post is in the Arkansas News and Events Thread. There are some folks on there that have loved ones at Varner and they may have heard something from them and it wouldn't hurt to ask the same question there, as you have here.

Have you talked to the prison or The State Law Enforcement? The State Law Enforcement would handle a death at a prison. I am sorry for what you are going thru. I know as I lost my Son to the DOC a little over a year ago and we are still waiting. We know very little. They have at least caught and charged some. But it will be at least 18mos + from the date of arrest before they are tried before a court. Don't give up, keep pushing for answers. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers

I hope you find answers and peace. My fiancee died in a Mississippi prison 11/25/06. This was during a visit with his kids. There were no emergency measures and no one would step up and tell what they witnessed. The pain will ease but never go away. I have exhausted all avenues---no one really cares. My heart will probably never heal but it does become tolerable.
