My son was to be transferred to Morgantown this past week from Big Sandy to start RDAP program. Does anyone know when this class starts?

Classes start SPORADICALLY. There are several a year. There is not a real fixed schedule for them as far as I know. I do know a few people that are gettign released the first week of April, so I'm guessing there is a class going to start mid or end of March.

How much time does he have left?

Thank you so much for your reply. His release date says 09/09/09. He was supposed to have been transferred on the 4th with 2 other guys but they didn't get to. He was told that the new class started this month which would have him home by the end of this year.

I found out that the next RDAP class in Morgantown starts on January 22, 2008.

Class 1/22 and end of February. I don't believe there is one in March and then one again in April. My son was next to get in the JAnuary class and they brought people in from other prisons and bumped him. Seems like no one is getting their full year off. I just hope he doesn't get bumped for the February class as that would mean one more Christmas spent away from his little toddler.

Do you know when the class starts in Febuary? He was in Kentucky which was only 2 hours away from Morgantown. And is now in Atlanta waiting to get transferred back to Morgantown. Seems like alot of tax payers money to send them 7 hours away when he was only 2 hours from where he was. Hope your son gets in this month. Thank you.
