yipee! I got a phone call and can now relax. My honey called to let me know he has received the "bags" of mail everyday and really appreciates all of it. He's gonna write and not to worry and yes he has the 60 stamps I sent him and he does have paper, just didn't know where to begin. We talked about the quarterly package and he said not to send one cause he's getting a package every quarter (good, glad someone else's spending their money on that) and that he can't wait to see me. He told me HE is not on lockdown because he is classfied (race wise) as OTHER. So, he can have visits (now we have to wait for approval) and there are no lines on the phones, in fact the phone disconnected 3 times and he called me right back and we continued to talk.

I'm jazzed. And I'm still going to send those letters everyday. Glad to hear that mail is reaching him and to receive that phone call, WHEW!

Thanks JMK, yes I was happy about it yesterday...and guess what? He called again today and we chatted some more. I gave him my schedule so that he doesn't miss me and I explained that I wouldn't forward the house to the cell because the cell is for work. My company pays the bill and I don't want minutes used up. So he was fine with that. So he can call me on M-F from 9:00-3:00pm and S&S same time. I gave him Mondays to call me (I telecommute on that day) anytime from 9-12:00noon and same times on Saturday and Sundays. We settled on 4 calls a month, and I got him to commit to two letters per week, not one, but two. I'll keep ya'll posted and let you know how this works out. We'll see. Thanks for the support.

We had a silent cry over the phone, bittersweet type, you know what I mean. Anyway, he called again today and he wrote me a 5 page letter. So I'm on my way with him, he's anxious for my approval too and I can't wait.

I know the feeling, over the weekend I recieved letters and a beautiful card that he drew up for me and this weekend I am going to try and go see him.
