I've been going through this for almost 2 years, and it never seems to get any easier, but at least after a court date you know what's happening and can relax for a few. My Baby has been deported twice in the last 2 years and got picked up on re-entry only a month after the last one and was unluckily not out of Texas yet. We waited almost 6 months for the court date and then they added 18 months. He's from Hondurus and even though I have offered to go there he won't hear of it. Immigration even tried to threaten me with harboring the last time and told them to go ahead and try it. I almost wish they would have, maybe with a big enough media bit they'd just leave us alone. He was a stupid kid and got a controlled substance, so now 10 years later they say he can't stay here no matter what. My 6 yr old just misses her dad and wants to know why the cops don't go after real bad guys. And my 2 yr old said dada for the first time in a jail and now he's so far away we can't even see him. I'm just tired and no matter who I call I never hear anything good. We were even talking about a prison marriage, but figured if it wouldn't help we'll wait it out and we'll do it in a church after the next deportation. At least the girls can be part of it. I just wish they could justify all this wasted money on an innocent guy when there are so many more greater problems in this country. They say he's illegal and doesn't have any rights, well I'm an American citizen, born and raised to love my country and yet I have no rights to be happy in it. Where's the justice in that? I'm sorry for rambling, but it's just been so long. But I'll keep my head up and pray to God everyday, He has a plan for us and I'll have faith in that plan. I just wish those plans were clearer.
