My First Christmas in Heaven

I see countless Christmas trees around the world below with tiny lights like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear, for I am spending Christmas with Jesus this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear, but the sound of music can't compare with the choir up here. I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring, for it is beyond description , to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart, but I am not so far away; we really aren't apart. So be happy for me, dear ones; you know I hold you dear, and be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly father above, I sent you each a memory of my undying love. After all love is a gift more precious than pure gold, it was always most important in the stories that Jesus told.

Please love each other , as my father said to do, for I can't count the blessing or love he has for each of you. So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear, remember--- I am spending Christmas with Jesus this year.

Menia I saw the title of this posted probably right after you posted it and burst into tears without ever pulling it up. It's been a rough day for me anyway you look at it so I figured this would just pile on some more pain.

This is beautiful and I cried some because of that. I hope you are doing well. I know it is your 1st Christmas without Keith and figured it would be hard.

It is hard. I want to go to visit his grave, but don't have the strenght to drive those 30 or so miles. You know his grave is the closest he has lived to me in the past 15 years.

Menia, I saw a poem similar to this at a store in the mall on Sunday. My first thought was that I wanted to purchase it so that I could share it with you. My second thought was of my Yawnco. Although he and I knew one another for 28 years, we were newbies to the love thing compared to you and Keith. At least, I was. It was hell trying to hide those tears in the middle of the mall.

Thank you for thinking of me. How are you doing this holiday season? I am staying busy. We will make it through this, as my therpist says it takes time, as Keith would say time will take care of everything.

Rhonda, I am so sorry about your Moms passing. I know she is still with you in everything you do. Sometimes when you say something, you will be able to hear her saying the same thing, and I know it will bring a smile to your face and probably tears to your eyes, but know that she will always be with you.
