Hello,
My husband is currently in Maricopa county awaiting his sentence for Violating his Probation, but also has a charge out of Pinal county where he signed a 2 1/2 year plea agreement there for being a prohibited possesor.
Anyway... The county jails have been taking their time getting him transfered where he needs to be for court dates and such. He has been trapped between the two county jails for over a year now.
Now there is discrepenancy on Whether or not the two sentences will be ran concurrent ( together) or Consecutive (Back to Back)
We are hoping that they credit him back time for the year he's already been serving in county while awaiting his sentences. It's pretty obvious that he will get the 2 1/2 years from the plea agreement. But our main concern is who has say on whether the two sentences out of both counties are ran concurrent or consecutive back to back? I was told his P.O. would have say over the matter. Is this true?
Is there anything that can possibly be done to help assure the two are run concurrent? Someone told me to write a letter to his judge. something along the lines of a " Character Letter." His public defender said that he is going to recommend the two be run concurrent but so far everything his public defender has tried has turned to crap!
I am so frustrated and I love my husband to death. The thought of him having to serve both sentences back to back is eating away at my stomache. So PLEASEEEEEEEEE! if you have any info on this or suggestions please email me at

I hardly ever get the oppertunity to come into these forums anymore because I am working two jobs just to afford these outrageous phone bills!
Your Help is greatly appreciated! God Bless everyone
