Hubbyjust called and is in need of some urgent prayer intervention. He apparently was written up for missing a GED class today that he neither knew he needed to attend or needed since he didn't know about it and even if he did, he didn't think he would need it since he has a college degree. They came and took the guys out at 6am and he sleeps in the infirmary (because of his CPAP machine) and didn't get back to his cell until 6:15. He didn't even see his name on a list until 3pm and was told by an officer that he had been written up. When he told a captain he didn't even know about the list or the class he was told it was his responsibility to know the system and be an adult.

They have disciplinary court at 7pm on Tuesdays and if he is found guilty of deliberately missing this class, he can lose phone, commissary and visiting privileges for up to three months and he could be thrown in the hole for a period of time as well. Needless to say, he is scared to death (and the lack of proper meds is NOT helping the situation) and asked that everyone pray for him to remain calm and keep his head about him, and that the "court" will show him mercy and grace in this. He really needs this move of God's power and peace.

So does his wife.

Anyone have any experience with this?

sandtrob, I will def keep you and your hubby in my prayers. I really know that it will all work out or I believe it will. There should be something they can do for him or some grace period. I can't believe the only advice he was given was "be an adult"!!!

A similar thing happened to my hubby today as well. There was an incident about several guys being in the television room or whatever and a window got cracked. No one owned up and everyone was written up. He went to the disciplinary court today and was found guilty. He was told that he would be put in the hole for 30 and his class would drop or something like that. *really sucks because I wanted to come see him and now that's screwed* He is appealing because his write up was supposed to be expired by the time he went to court and the guards said that there isn't any evidence as to who did it and they really couldn't tell how it happened. I guess this punishment was supposed to scare someone into talking. My hubby said that he would own up if he did it, but since he wasn't involved he was keeping his mouth shut.

God will bless the both of them. Keep your head up and know there is power in prayer.

Why do these people have to be so mean? Are they like the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler or what?
