This past Saturday I had my visit at lancaster reception center. It was really nice to see him. It made my day.Well ladies for those of you who have a loved one in Lancaster and have not visited there yet and are awating for approval this is my experience there. First they have really nice staff in the visiting center, its really not that bad just make sure that you arrive 30-45 min before your appointment time. but other than that the procces is really simple. I was happy to see him. :p:p:p:p:p:p

I'm also thrilled to hear it's an easy process and that the staff is pleasant. So many worries just got taken off my mind. Did you get to stay an hour or more? And is it warm in the prison?

Yeah Stillhere, I am so happy for you. you got to see your handsome boy. It had to have made things better that the staff were so kind. I have only had the pleasure of speaking with prison staff over the phone and I have been amazed at how kind they all are. With what they deal with everyday, I expected nothing but jaded impatient responses. i am glad to hear that they are also kind in person also. Wendy

YES I know I was surprised when i saw how pleasant they were. Well Lancaster has cold weather. but my boy said that its actually warm in there facility he is in B5.in the waiting room for the visit it was warm. My visit lasted 30 minutes the reason beingthat he is in reception in the mainline you get one hour. but since he is in reception he gets 30 min.

How did you get to the visiting operator? I have approved CDC form 106 and have been trying to call to get appointment and can't get through. My fiancee has his heart set to see me for the last 3 weekends. My heart is broken for simply being that i want to see him but i can't get through the operator. It stays busy or if i am lucky to get through i will be told they are fully booked already. Please help me.

What number do we call for making an appointment for reception at Lancaster?
And What day do we call?
Is the appointment set up for the following weekend?
