I am about to finish up 3 years probation in about a week. I just had my last report today which was done over the phone instead of me going into the office like i have been doing for the last 3 years. Was i not suppose to sign anything saying that i have/will be finished serving my probation, right now i don't feel i have any closure after serving those 3 years. Is this normal procedure for finishing probation? Not sure what to expect really since this was my first time serving probation. I guess i just thought there shoudl have really been something to actually mark the end of it that i have completed my sentence FINALLY.

No receipt is issued for time served. The closest thing to a receipt is your original probation order which has the end date.
